Attic Decontamination Services
Rodent droppings, urine, and mold spores from your attic can release contaminants into the air, and through what is known as the stack effect, that air gets pulled down into your living space every time your system runs.
The danger isn’t always visible. Dried rodent waste can carry pathogens that become airborne the moment it’s disturbed, which makes DIY cleanup riskier than most homeowners realize.
We sanitize contaminated attics using hospital-grade disinfectants, addressing the health risk at its source instead of just clearing out debris.

Jonathan and his crew cleaned my attic and crawl space, sealed all of the entry points to keep the rodents out and installed new insulation. They arrived on time and despite sweltering heat they completed the job in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, they answered all of my many questions. I would strongly recommend them.Posted on Google![]()

They sent over Brian for a free inspection. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to show the drain leak issue we have. Unfortunately, it’s not in their scope of service. But he helped us find and speak to plumbing company. Thank you Brian!Posted on Google![]()

Our house is going on 30 years old and we knew from other subs and trades that the attic insulation was uneven across the house and inadequate in places. We had all of the old insulation removed, the space cleaned up, openings sealed, baffles installed, and new R-49 fiberglass insulation blown in. Angel and his crew were prompt, very polite and respectful of our house, and worked diligently to complete the job in a timely manner. They kept the areas of their work neat and clean and left no mess behind. The space looks great, and we are looking forward to realizing the benefits of the new insulation right away.Posted on Google![]()

What Our Attic Decontamination Service Includes
Decontamination goes beyond a standard cleanup, targeting the biological hazards a regular cleaning would miss.
Contaminated Material Removal
We safely remove soiled insulation, animal waste, and other physical debris using industrial-grade vacuums built to contain contaminants rather than spread them.
Hospital-Grade Sanitization
We apply powerful, EPA-registered disinfectants to neutralize bacteria, viruses, and pheromones left behind by pests, treating the space rather than just the visible mess.
Odor Elimination
Because we address the source of contamination rather than masking it, foul odors tied to rodent activity or mold are eliminated along with the material causing them.
Common Attic Contaminants We Remove
A few hazards show up in nearly every contaminated attic we treat:
- Rodent droppings and urine: Waste left behind by rats and mice can carry pathogens like hantavirus and salmonella, especially once it dries out and becomes airborne.
- Mold and mildew: Moisture trapped in insulation encourages fungal growth, releasing spores that can trigger asthma and allergy symptoms.
- Dust mites and allergens: Accumulated dust and pest dander circulate through your HVAC system, lowering indoor air quality throughout the home.
Left untreated, these contaminants tend to compound each other rather than staying contained to one area.
Our Decontamination Process
We begin with a thorough inspection to identify the type and extent of contamination, including hidden rodent nests or mold growth that isn’t immediately visible. From there, we safely remove all physical debris, soiled insulation, and animal waste using industrial-grade vacuums designed to prevent particles from spreading during cleanup. We finish by applying hospital-grade disinfectants across the space to neutralize bacteria, viruses, and pheromones, leaving your attic sanitized rather than just cleared out.
Why Professional Decontamination Matters
Rodent droppings and urine are classified as biohazard material for good reason. Disturbing dried waste by sweeping or vacuuming it with a standard household vacuum can release contaminated particles into the air, which is exactly the exposure risk professional decontamination is designed to avoid.
Our technicians use containment methods and hospital-grade disinfectants specifically because a partial or improperly handled cleanup can do more harm than leaving the space alone.
Why Homeowners Choose Us for Attic Decontamination
Decontamination only works if contamination is fully addressed, not just the parts that are easy to see.
- Health-first approach: We treat decontamination as a health and safety service, not just a cleaning job.
- Industrial-grade equipment: Our vacuums and containment methods are built to remove contaminants without spreading them further.
- Eco-conscious products: We use effective disinfectants that neutralize pathogens without relying on harsh chemicals throughout your home.
- One-year workmanship warranty: If anything about the work needs a second look, we come back and take care of it.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Cost depends on the size of your attic and how extensive the contamination is. A free inspection gives you an accurate estimate rather than a guess based on square footage alone.
It’s not recommended. Sweeping or vacuuming dried droppings with a standard household vacuum can release airborne particles that carry pathogens like hantavirus, which is why professional containment and disinfection matter.
We address rodent droppings and urine, mold and mildew, and accumulated dust and allergens, treating each as a distinct hazard rather than a single generic mess.
No. We use effective, hospital-grade disinfectants that neutralize bacteria and pathogens without relying on harsh chemicals that could affect your indoor air quality.
Most decontamination projects are completed in a single visit, though the exact timeline depends on your attic’s size and the extent of the contamination found during inspection.
