Attic & Crawl Space Insulation
Your attic insulation sets the tone for nearly everything else in your home’s comfort and energy use. It decides how hard your air conditioner and heater have to work, how evenly temperatures hold room to room, and how much shows up on your utility bill each month. When insulation for attics is too thin, compressed, or aging, homeowners across feel it fastest in the peak of summer.
Insulation loses effectiveness for a lot of reasons: age, moisture, pest activity, or simply being installed at the wrong depth for the local climate. Once that happens, hot attic air pushes into living spaces, air conditioners run longer than they should, and rooms farthest from the thermostat never quite feel right.
We install and upgrade fiberglass insulation built to hold up in hot, dry, and mixed climates alike, without the settling or moisture retention issues that come with other materials. It’s a straightforward fix with one of the highest returns on investment of any home improvement.

Jonathan and his crew cleaned my attic and crawl space, sealed all of the entry points to keep the rodents out and installed new insulation. They arrived on time and despite sweltering heat they completed the job in a timely and professional manner. Additionally, they answered all of my many questions. I would strongly recommend them.Posted on Google![]()

They sent over Brian for a free inspection. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to show the drain leak issue we have. Unfortunately, it’s not in their scope of service. But he helped us find and speak to plumbing company. Thank you Brian!Posted on Google![]()

Our house is going on 30 years old and we knew from other subs and trades that the attic insulation was uneven across the house and inadequate in places. We had all of the old insulation removed, the space cleaned up, openings sealed, baffles installed, and new R-49 fiberglass insulation blown in. Angel and his crew were prompt, very polite and respectful of our house, and worked diligently to complete the job in a timely manner. They kept the areas of their work neat and clean and left no mess behind. The space looks great, and we are looking forward to realizing the benefits of the new insulation right away.Posted on Google![]()

Our Attic & Crawl Space Insulation Services
Every attic and crawl space is different, so we tailor the approach to your home’s age, layout, and current insulation condition rather than applying a one-size-fits-all fix.
Insulation Installation and Upgrades
We install premium Owens Corning fiberglass insulation, in both blown-in and batt form, to reach the R-value your climate zone calls for. Blown-in fiberglass fills gaps around joists, wiring, and odd angles that batts alone can miss, creating a more even thermal barrier across the whole attic floor. Because we work exclusively in fiberglass, you always know what’s going into your attic, with no cellulose or spray foam substitutions.
Insulation Removal and Replacement
If your current material is compressed, contaminated, or simply undersized, we handle attic insulation removal before installing anything new. Clearing out the old layer first gives new fiberglass a clean, even base and avoids trapping moisture or debris underneath.
Signs You Need New Insulation
Most homeowners don’t think about their attic until a problem shows up somewhere else in the house. A few warning signs tend to show up first:
- Rising energy bills: Your air conditioner or heater runs more often, but your home never quite feels comfortable.
- Uneven room temperatures: Rooms above the garage or at the end of a hallway run noticeably hotter or colder than the rest of the house.
- Visible gaps or thinning: You can see floor joists poking through the insulation, or it looks patchy and uneven.
- A hot or cold attic hatch: The attic access panel feels like the outside temperature when you touch it.
- Pest droppings or nesting material: Signs of rodents mixed into the insulation often mean it’s contaminated and losing effectiveness, which is a job for our rodent proofing team as well.
If any of this sounds familiar, it is worth having your attic looked at before another season of high bills passes by.
How We Approach Every Attic & Crawl Space Insulation Project
We start every project with a free, no-obligation inspection so you know exactly what is happening in your attic before any work begins. Our technicians photograph the space, measure the current coverage, and check for moisture, damage, or pest activity that we need to address first. From there, we remove any old or contaminated material, install new fiberglass insulation to the right depth for your home, and finish with a walkthrough so you can see the results without guessing whether the job was done right.
Why Choose Attic Construction for Attic & Crawl Space Insulation
Homeowners across our service areas choose us because we keep the process simple, transparent, and focused on one material we know works.
- Fiberglass-only expertise: We install and stand behind blown-in and batt fiberglass insulation exclusively, so there’s never a question about what is in your attic.
- Licensed and accredited: We hold a specialty insulation license and general contractor credentials, and we’re accredited by the Better Business Bureau.
- One-year workmanship warranty: If something isn’t right after the job is done, we’ll come back and fix it at no extra cost.
- Thousands of five-star reviews: Homeowners consistently point to our clear communication and clean work sites as reasons they would hire us again.
That track record is part of why so many homeowners treat us as their first call for attic-related work, not just insulation.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Cost depends on your attic’s square footage, the R-value your climate zone requires, and whether old material needs to be removed first. The only way to get an accurate number is with a free, in-person inspection.
If you can see attic floor joists through the insulation, notice rooms that never quite reach a comfortable temperature, or your energy bills have crept up without an obvious cause, it’s worth having your coverage checked. A free inspection will tell you exactly where you stand.
No. We work exclusively with fiberglass insulation because of its consistent performance, resistance to moisture, and long-term durability in the hot and mixed climates we serve. That focus lets us stand fully behind the material we install.
Sometimes, if the existing material is dry, clean, and not compressed. If it shows signs of moisture, pests, or significant wear, we recommend removing it first so the new fiberglass performs the way it’s supposed to.
Quality fiberglass insulation can last 20 to 30 years or more when it’s installed correctly and stays dry. Its lifespan can be shortened by moisture intrusion, pest activity, or physical disturbance, such as items stored directly on top of it.
